What's New?

Our team is happy to release JoomBri Freelance v2.0 which allows Buyers to upload image attachments for Projects. Latest Projects module is redesigned to display project images in thumbnail view making your site look attractive.

JoomBri Menu is rendered from module and styled to Twitter Boostrap. It is now responsive that adjusts to your viewport for easy navigation. You may place this menu anywhere on your template and it can be made sticky to top or bottom of the viewport.

Freelance v1.9 Stable Released

JoomBri Freelance 1.9 Stable is now available.

What's New?

JoomBri Freelance v1.9 comes with new Crop n Upload for profile picture. Other minor features includes,

  • Autocomplete library migrated to jQuery.
  • Pending tasks shows invitation for projects.
  • Send reminder before subscription expires.

Our team has worked so hard to migrate from MooTools to jQuery library (Phase 2) and you may not notice any new UI or features in this release. This is merely a big initiative to do this conversion as Joomla has completely replaced their MooTools with jQuery JavaScript and therefore Joomla will no longer require mooTools for any of the core CMS functionality.

The integration of the mooTools JavaScript framework will be completely dropped and not supported in future.

Freelance v1.8 Stable Released

JoomBri Freelance 1.8 Stable is now available.

What's New?

Our team has worked so hard to migrate from MooTools to jQuery library and you may not notice any new UI or features in this release. This is merely a big initiative to do this conversion as Joomla has completely replaced their MooTools with jQuery JavaScript and therefore Joomla will no longer require mooTools for any of the core CMS functionality.

The integration of the mooTools JavaScript framework will be completely dropped and not supported in future.

Freelance v1.7 Stable Released

JoomBri is pleased to announce the immediate availability of JoomBri Freelance 1.7 Stable which has addressed several minor improvements to the system.

What's New?

Our team is happy to release JoomBri Freelance v1.7 which has enhanced the search user page which allows to filter and sort Freelancers by their skills, location, hourly rate and rating. This version displays country flag in project and user profile pages.

We have replaced the plain-text skills with tags based skills. Therefore, it is very simple to filter users, projects and services by skills in a single click.

We have also improved rating page with drag-drop star-type rating - no more boring dropdown lists. We have modified the logic to rate projects after the completion marked from Project progress page.

Users can generate invoice for Services and we have added YouTube type in custom field.

What's New?

Our team is happy to release JoomBri Freelance v1.6 which allows Buyers to save location information for Projects and users to save that for Profile. Because of this, Freelancers can receive project notification matching their skills and location as well. We have also enhanced search page for Project and Users.

Freelancers can now update the progress of their awarded project and Buyers can track the status. We have also linked Private Message to the progress update page for easy conversation between buyers and freelancers.

Freelance v1.5 Stable Released

JoomBri is pleased to announce the immediate availability of JoomBri Freelance 1.5 Stable which has a brand-new, long-awaited feature Freelancer Services.

What's New?

Our team is happy to release JoomBri Freelance v1.5 which allows Freelancers to sell their skills directly through a new feature called Freelancer Services. A big advantage of this feature is, there is no bidding which make the service simple, fast and efficient.

We have introduced a new drag & drop type, multiple file attachments for Services. It gives you live upload progress update using third-party library from dropzonejs.com. It has been tested with all modern browsers and IE 10+.

We have also included Service Progress Update page where Sellers or Freelancers can update the progress of their work and Buyers can keep track of it. This feature gives site owners an extra income from Service Fees and Commission.

It has taken nearly two months for designing, developing, testing and releasing this version. If you face any bugs, please report them through our Forum.

Freelance v1.3 Stable Released

JoomBri is pleased to announce the immediate availability of JoomBri Freelance 1.3 Stable having the ability to moderate Private Messages.

What's New?

Are you worried about your users sharing contact information through Private Messages? With v1.3 Stable, all the messages can be moderated before recipient reads it. When a private message is sent, admin can edit, remove or approve it. 

This version has been checked thoroughly for Cross Site Request Forgeries (CSRF) attacks and this is an important upgrade concerning security.

Admin dashboard has been revamped to be more informative highlighting pending or unapproved requests like Projects, Users, Subscriptions, Deposit & Withdraw requests, and Private Messages. Admin can now remove transaction history and bids from back-end.
